This policy sets out the rules we follow at Beekeeper Studio regarding ethical business conduct, including anti-bribery, anti-corruption, modern slavery, and child labor laws.
Applies to: All employees, contractors, and interns.
Version: 1.0
Effective Date: March 10, 2026
We prohibit bribery and corruption in all forms. You must not:
Gifts and hospitality: Modest, reasonable business courtesies (e.g., meals, small branded items) are acceptable. Cash or cash-equivalent gifts are never permitted.
Pricing: All sales are conducted at standard published pricing through our website. We do not negotiate side payments, commissions to intermediaries, or off-book arrangements.
We are committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in our operations and supply chain.
Our operations: We are a fully remote software company with no physical supply chain, manufacturing, or manual labor. Everyone on the team is engaged voluntarily at fair, market-rate compensation.
Our supply chain: Our vendors are established technology companies (Heroku/Salesforce, AWS, Stripe, GitHub, Google) that maintain their own modern slavery statements and compliance programs.
We will not knowingly engage with any vendor or partner that uses forced labor, child labor, or human trafficking.
Beekeeper Studio does not employ anyone under the age of 18. All employees and contractors must be of legal working age in their jurisdiction. We verify age as part of our standard hiring process. We will not knowingly engage with any vendor or partner that uses child labor.
Report any suspected violations of this policy to the CTO immediately. Beekeeper Studio does not tolerate retaliation against anyone who reports a concern in good faith.
