Listing Databases in PostgreSQL: The Equivalent of MySQL's SHOW DATABASES Command

In PostgreSQL, the equivalent of the SHOW DATABASES command in MySQL is the \l command. This command is used to list all of the databases on the current PostgreSQL server.

To use this command, simply connect to your PostgreSQL server using the psql command-line interface, and then enter \l at the prompt. This will display a list of all of the databases on the server, along with some additional information such as the owner of the database and the encoding used.
